P's 7th Birthday

I made it. We made it.

I feel like there is an ocean of grief under the surface but if you stay busy enough there's no way for it to come out.

P had a great birthday. Great memories and lots of fun with cousins. A birthday party, fun outside at a beautiful park near a river, special Chick-Fil-A lunch, scootering, chalk, exploring, the soundtrack from his favorite music during a balloon dance party, pizza dinner, a yummy cake - the works.

I am sheer exhausted.

Stuffing down deep sorrow makes my heart hurt.

I hope I get some time to think and grieve in the car tomorrow - while driving all day.
